Oh No, Those Gypsies Probably Got Knives

Alexa. 21. Seattle.

I like anything morbid, the sound of rain, lyrically amazing music, writing poetry, going on random adventures, lava lamps, Grandmarie hats, and barbeque chips.

I'm weird.
You'll get used to it.

I guess this is the place for me to dump my heart and soul into a piece of writing about myself that 98% of people will never read. Here goes nothing:

I’m Alexa. I am 21 and just trying to find my way through the haze. I was born and raised in the Seattle area. I’ll be honest and upfront when I warn you that I am weird. I always have been, and I always will be. I’m awkward and shy and never have the right things to say - but my quirkiness makes me that much more “me”, so I’m not complaining.

I pretty much tell anyone who will listen about my Freddie Mercury “conspiracy theory”: Freddie Mercury was born on September 5th (my birthday) and died on November 24th (my brother’s birthday) in 1991 (the year I was born). I don’t know, man. Pretty cool if you ask me.

If we can agree on some music and our sense of humor, I can guarantee we will hit it off no problem. (Just so you know, my ipod consists of literally everything except country. I hate country music..)

I am currently still in the midst of my nearly ten year long obsession with Ted Bundy. You call him creepy, I call him fascinating. I will own my own “Bundy Bug” one day too. But don’t worry, I’ll actually leave the passenger side seat in.

I will now drown you with my cliche words of “photography is my life blah blah blah I would be dead without it blah blah blah…” But really. Photography is my life and I would be dead without it. Simple as that. It has been one of two “constants” in my life for the last five and a half years and I won’t give it up easily. Being behind the lens is the most comforting spot in the world to me.

My second passion is writing. When I was 15 and 16, I wrote and completed a 130-something page book that is currently sitting on my book shelf collecting dust. In the years since I completed it, I have started many second comings, and I have finally put together a full story board for what will be my actual second book. I’m excited to see where this goes.

I live in a very terrifying and sometimes exciting world of extreme mental chaos. This will be evident when you read my personal posts.

I’m artistic, and I have been for as long as I can remember. I love to create. I love to learn. I love to express myself with art. The world should be very concerned for my personal safety if I ever stop making things.

My world revolves around:
Writing, photography, Ted Bundy, Titanic, art, horror movies, true crime, french fries, ice cream, pizza, day dreaming and having a good time.

I am extremely non-judgmental and I will give everyone a chance. My philosophy for life has always been “I am nice to you until you give me a reason not to be.” Everyone starts off with a fresh page in my book. Be mindful that I am a human being just like you and we will be just fine.

I like meeting new people and I will without a doubt respond to you if you would like to message me (: The only messages I will not respond to are creepy, perverted or otherwise inappropriate messages.

Take the time to get to know me.
Despite everything, I’d like to think I’m a pretty cool person…
but you will never know that unless you get to know me.
